Designed to be obsolete
After reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieter_Rams, I can’t help but think that Apple does not stick to the rule It is Long-lasting as they seem to make most of their own products obsolete.
I don’t know why the feel they have to do this but it is one reason why I have decided not to buy any Apple products for the foreseeable future.
This makes no sense what so ever! What they need is to proof read or at the least a spell check. I know some dyslexic people, my brother being one of them, and they would have trouble spelling the whole sentence not just the last word.
Sometimes the jokes on twitter are just fucking stupid.
OK so we get that they are a vegan, they establish that fact in the first sentence.
My question is this if you are making meat substitute, which is basically not meat how can you combine all of them and end up with ULTRAMEAT! Surely it should be called ULTRAMEATSUBSTITUTE, or as normal people call it Spam.
Boredom
Getting really fed up with the fact that the adult maths course that I am doing is taking so long. One of the reasons for this is the tutor who seems intent on talking for far to long to eveyone else and not getting his job done.
This is the current state of my new avatar. I’ve gone with a shield because I like playing RPG’s and normally play as a warrior.
Going minimal.
Ok I’m sold. After trying Simple Software’s ZenEdit for only a few seconds I already think it’s a fantastic piece of software and I’m wishing I’d found it sooner. My only gripe is the lack of spell checker although my spelling is pretty good sometimes I type to fast or make basic mistakes (the dreaded teh for example) and it would be nice to have them highlighted in some way as I could then replace my normal blogging program with ZenEdit, by this I mean write the post in ZenEdit and then copy/paste it to tumblr add the tags and post it.
I may have to look around for a no frills editor for text files and such like and I’m hoping to find one soon.
P. S. Never mind about the spell checker seems tumblr/Firefox 4.0b1 has one so I will be using ZenEdit to write my posts from now on.

Had to use my father in laws laptop today and I can’t belive the amount of junk he has on it. to start with it’s running Vista which is not the best of OSes in the first place then there is all the normal maintainace thngs that he hasn’t done like clearing out the internet files that build up, not stoing folders full of files on the desktop and gerenrally keeping it up to date.
Ii need to takeit off him for a day or 2 and really tidy the whole thing up, I wouldn’t mind so much if it was a cheap one either but its a Sony Vaio 2Ghz dual core with 3Gb of ram, I’ve got an old duron 1200 with 512Mb of pc2100 ddr at home that runs faster then this thing.
